St. Louis joined 30 member cities to accelerate inclusive innovation and foster shared learning and collaboration between each other.
The St. Louis Equity in Entrepreneurship Collective, knows it takes an intentional, systemic approach to achieve inclusive growth. This opportunity helped the Collective learn from other cities and gain insight from Forward Cities experts on how to make the St. Louis region more inclusive.
Washington University, Cortex, and BioSTL convened a St. Louis cross-sector coalition of leaders to meet throughout 2019 to apply lessons learned and to stay aligned in efforts to advance inclusive entrepreneurship locally. The work was in partnership with the St. Louis Equity in Entrepreneurship Collective.
Forward Cities conducted a study regarding equity in our local entrepreneurial ecosystem. During their visit on November 20th, Forward Cities shared their findings from their Economic Inclusion Indicator Brief and reviewed the results from the entrepreneurial ecosystem assessment.
